Returns & Refunds
We always hope you will be truly pleased with your purchases from Silver Cuddles. We cannot accept returns on Bespoke / Made To Order / Special / Personalised orders. An exception to this would be if we have not supplied the item ordered, please make sure you have ordered correctly before contacting us.
We cannot be held responsible for customers not having as clearly defined fingerprints as they would like, not following instructions correctly when taking impressions, ordering the wrong item or misspelling personalised orders.
Some companies advise a minimum age of 1 year for taking clear fingerprints. I personally do not recommend a particular age. Every person is different. In some cases a 1 year old may have a more defined print than a 3 year old. Therefore, please ask if you would like some sort of an idea how defined the print is. Once the item has been made it is too late and therefore no refund or remake will be offered.
If you wish to have the prints / writing positioned in a certain way, please make this clear when ordering, as this cannot be rectified once your item is complete. I will endeavor to place prints and writing as you wish to my best ability, subject to space allowed.
For your information, all imprint jewellery pieces are made from 999 fine silver which is somewhat softer than 925 sterling silver. For this reason your jewellery may show signs of wear and tear over time. This is more noticeable with bracelets and keyrings due to their use. All chains, jump rings and similar are made from 925 sterling silver to maximise durability.
Engraved jewellery / items are 925 sterling silver, unless stated otherwise on the description.
As with all jewellery, links can be opened or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact me within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged.
It is advised to remove items prior to showering / bathing, etc as this will reduce signs of wear and tear.
All sizes are displayed on the product information on the website, so please ensure the size ordered is the size you require. All sizes are approximately.
If you are emailing your own prints, please ensure you scan these and not take a photograph. When scanning always place a few sheets of white paper behind. This ensures a clear white background on your prints. If there is a grey background this will effect the quality of your finished item. I will do my best to work with the prints you provide, however, I may need to request further copied are emailed over if they are not correct.
We aim to offer to post out your Print Impression Kit within 48 hours of receiving your order. Once we have received your impression back into the studio we aim to make your item within 14-21 days. Usually sooner but we reserve the right to extend this to 28 days especially during busier periods such as around Christmas, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Please advise if it is required by a certain date and I will endeavor to meet this date for you.
All finished items for UK delivery will be sent by ‘Royal Mail Signed For Delivery’ service. The is an insured service for jewellery and a signature will be required upon delivery. All items for delivery outside of the UK will be sent by ‘Royal Mail International Signed For’ service. A signature will be required upon delivery.
Pricing / discount offers
From time to time we may need to review our prices. Please note your price is relevant at time of ordering and paying for a kit. We also may offer discounts and offers, again these are only applicable to your order at the time of ordering.
To fulfill your order, you must provide me with certain information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment amount/method, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (such as a Child’s name, DOB). When you order, I only ever see your name, email address, postal address and payment amount/method. Your bank details are kept private from me.
